Our story

A workshop first. The company came later.

Aaryam is the US company. Behind it is a family that has been making fine jewelry since 2007, today on its own factory floor in Surat — which is why we can talk about how a piece is built rather than only what it costs.

Where it starts

Surat, and the bench that has been running since 2013

The workshop is Bhagwati Jewels, our family business in Katargam, Surat. It has been manufacturing gold and diamond jewelry there since 2013; the family has made fine jewelry since 2007. It is where every Aaryam piece is cast, set and finished. 60 artisans work there. The line they draw from runs to 8,000 designs, and the floor turns out up to 3,000 pieces a month.

None of that is outsourced and none of it is a trading relationship. When you ask us to change a prong profile or drop a half-millimetre off a shank, the answer comes from the people who would make the change, not from a middleman who has to go and ask.

Why a US company

Because the distance was the problem

Independent US jewelers buying lab-grown have generally had to go through a layer of importers and distributors. Each layer adds a margin, and — more expensively — adds distance. A question about a setting takes a week to answer. A change to a design takes a month. A reorder of something that sold well arrives as whatever the distributor happened to have.

Aaryam exists to remove that layer. The stock is held in New York so it ships the same day when confirmed before 1 pm Eastern. The workshop is ours, so a design change is a conversation rather than a negotiation. You are buying from the people who make it.

The founder

Ravi Dhameliya

Combining an engineer's precision with a lifelong passion for fine jewelry, Ravi Dhameliya has been at the forefront of manufacturing since joining his family's business in 2012. After successfully scaling the company's operations throughout India, he launched Aaryam in 2026. As a US-based B2B enterprise, Aaryam was built on a distinct vision: to empower retailers with direct, streamlined access to premium, high-quality jewelry straight from their dedicated manufacturing facilities in India.

He is an IGI graduate in diamond grading, so the stones that go into the line are chosen and checked by someone trained to grade them, not only to sell them.
